His brother’s ashes scattered on Plantation River
The two boys, brothers, neither had a spouse
Luis punches the clock down at Kenyon Power House
Worked like dogs, didn’t drink, didn’t grouse
One day, bad news the good Lord did deliver

The repetition of that first line is so powerful--I get a feeling of a strong work ethic and the brothers' closeness. Life goes on with the sound of the punchclock. Love that you used the place names as part of the poem. So rooted in real life. Wonderful poem.
